CABW 032: Ordinary Nurses Serving Malnourished Infants in Guatemala
On this episode, we chat with Jeff and Karlie Ruiter, Founders of Ordinary Nurses.
Jeff and Karlie founded the non-profit organization to bring health and hope to the starving babies of rural Guatemala. With infant mortality high and accounting for 25% of all registered deaths as well as knowing that within the villages of Guatemala, over 80% of children under five years of age are malnourished, Ordinary Nurses is on a mission to change these statistics through disease prevention, community health education, high-quality medical care, and nutrition services.
Listen as they share their emotions and experience in taking the HUGE step of faith along with their dedication to be obedient to the call that shaped the last few years of their lives together.
