CABW 053: Developing the Next Generation of Digital Leaders
Cyberbulling has increased 81% since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
Negative online material and behavior are linked to higher levels of stress, anxiety, depression, and suicide in kids and teens. Just because students understand the mechanics of social media and digital technology doesn’t mean they know how to deal with issues like cyberbullying, harassment, inappropriate content, privacy, and safety.
Join a conversation with Kim Karr, Executive Director and Co-Founder of #ICanHelp and Malorie Bournazian, #ICanHelp’s Lead Intern.
#ICANHELP’s mission is to empower students with the tools and training they need to protect themselves, develop their digital media toolkit, and use social media and other digital technologies positively and celebrates youth innovation, empowers digital changemakers and promotes digital safety.
